Just got in from fishing cambois pier, got set up for 6pm, there was 1 other lad already on with 2 codling to show for his first hour about 1lb & 2.5lb, I must have been a bad omen as me & my two mates blanked , apart from an eel ! I missed one good knock, that was it for tonight, fished from 6pm - 10-15, nice night & the sea is picking up !

Yes it was a lovely evening and the sea was definetly picking up. I fished the ramp behind the 3 silos from 8pm till 10:30 and left when I could no longer hold bottom with an 8oz spider, blanked also but at least we're out and trying.

i only had 2 off the end the other nite straight away then went dead so headed to another mark about half way off the pier and fished well ended the nite with 9 to me and m8 had 2 so dont be scared try other shots down the pier its a bit snaggier but wud give up a few leads for a few fish anyday.

I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, even though I caught now't, I still enjoyed the session, I will be out again soon.
getting along is no problem depending on the the tide & sea conditions, getting back off last night was a bit dodgy, you just have to be carefull, Dont go alone !

I won't use the big bag mate, small backpack, white transit ! Im out tomorrow night or saturday, away to wing hongs for some razor/squid tomorrow then see where I end up on the night !Hope so and I'll look for the lad with a bag lol
