cambois saturday

After my lass bribed me to take the boys fishing with me on saturday i decided to head for Cambois as i had the youngun on Blyth pier last yr and it was a nightmare. We set up at the blocks but it soon became apparent that the weed and still a canny sea running was going to be no good for the lads with light gear so we moved across to the seven stars jetty to fish the harbour. We stood there all day without a bite apart from the crabs but that was enough to keep the interest in for william the youngest lad but callum wasnt too impressed. So in a nutshell we all blanked but we had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon will the crabs keepin the youngun happy. Baits used were rag , razor and crab.

Great photos tho mate, If I were you I'd print em out and stick em on the fireplace/ mantle! I've got similar pics my dad took of me at that age and they are priceless.

There was someone there this morning with a small tent pitched next to their vehicle while they fished

The good thing about crabs (as it were) is that they keep the kids interested and curious.

Aye nice one getting oot with the lads mat there about theage i started my two fishing and twenty years later the three of us still fish together nearly every wkend there nowt beter
