Fished 5:30am till 09:30am started on the ramp fishing to clean ground . Sea was flat as a witches wel persevered and had 4 flatties all about the pound mark they were in cracking condition , they were took on mussel with one 8mm luminous bead.
The tide was well on its way out and it was light so moved down to the beach from the ramp and started casting towards the HOLE, not a sniff and just before a threw the towel in had a lovely bite lifted in to it and felt like an ok fish but then solid
tried and tried but nothing then snap so had a bit of a swearing session and packed up and headed off home.
