We had a run over on Saturday (first of the Autumn) myself,Nemosharktale and Jim
We usually go North of the Tyne but this time we had a scout about round Marsden way. After a bit of advice we started at Camels Island for a few chucks over low. 3 flounders between us.
We met up with a couple of lads out for a walk and they pointed us in the direction of Frenchmans Point and showed us a few marks between....Cheers Keith and Paul.
Anyway we fished there from 4-11 getting loads of bites from the small coalies a few were landed about the 30-35cm and a couple of whiting.
A new experience fishing off the cliffs and not a bad day out until having to get the RAC to tow us back to Cumbria.....It saved a bit on petrol anyway

Nice effort. Got my money's worth out of the RAC many years ago getting towed back to Shields from Alnwick. Started to get to know the blokes by first names :D

I used to take my car all over the place with no breakdown cover and was always very lucky. I would'nt dare leave the house without it now though, pleased you got back home ok and I bet it did save you a few quid lol.
