fished lastnight camios few rods out back of houses 7 till 10 club match lug crab veryslow then tried just crab ended up with one cod 38cm first for start of season over moon hope to get better waiting for newbigigin open on sunday

Had 4 sized codling from there last night! Biggest just over 2lb.
Worm and crab did the damage.
My headlight died about half an hour into the flood and I forgot to take my spare!!

I walked along the beach towards the ramp after my light went out, but I fished behind the houses. There were another 4 beside me who all had fish.
