Almost five years ago to this weekend, my wife and I went with close friends Graham and Susan Fiddes, to Portpatrick, to celebrate Grahams birthday ( I think) The girls went for a walk, as Graham and I sat outside the crown and enjoyed freakish february sunshine. There was hardly a cloud in the sky, the Irish sea looked like a pond, the air so clear we could see the Mountains of Morne in Ulster on the horizon. The mirror stillness of the sea, scarred only by the wake of a white masted yacht leaving the harbour. It was surreal, like some hollywood computer generated image. I took a photo of it, as Graham and I sat in silence staring at this beautiful scene, he raised his glass of single malt and said to me, "Paul, this must be what its like sitting in heaven, cheers mate.
The reason Ive asked for help is the only picture I know of was posted in the following link, now only its code remains.
In November, 2009, Graham, my close friend, and Masonic Brother was given two years to live after a cancerous tumour was discovered in his brain.
Graham passed away on tuesday during a seizure. 3 months after he was given two years. I am writing a eulogy for him, and the closing line, is his quote, spoken outside The Crown that sunny day, and I would dearly love to have a copy of these photos. Is there any way they can be reclaimed?
