Canny catch for the southerners....

43lb 9oz cod was caught yesterday on Deep Blue..Eastbourne charter boat, i know it has nothing to do with north east...but its good to share a good catch with fellow fishermen!

i havent got any details on baits or rigs yet...i will update if i find out from where i got this from.

never the less...this is a monster fish for UK water...could we have monsters returning to our waters???

One hell of a fish that, well done to the captor. Only 3lb-3ozs heavier than the one Ken caught from the shore at balcary, just to give us some perspective of size.
