Canny first session

Was out last night for my first session after not fishing for quite a while.
Fished a Tyne mark (south side) from around 9.30 till 4am with my brother and three other lads, everyone caught.
I was lucky enough to land a couple of small codling and around 10 whiteys of a decent size, all around the 40cm mark.

I kept 4 and returned the others.

To top the night me brother pulled out a Cod of 6 1/2 pound !!
Unfortunately I dont have a photo of it, nice stocky fish tho.

Whiteys took lug tipped with makky mostly and the big cod was taken on makky strip I think. When he guutted the cod we found a six inch codling in its stomach!
I was taken to the mark by someone else so dont feel its my place to say but its not a million miles from mill dam
