Car Service and MOT

I need the car servicing and MOT'ing asap as my usual fella is unable to do it. Any recommendations for a reliable, reasonable, local mechanic or garage who could do it for me? It's a Ford Cmax petrol and shouldn't need a lot doing to it? Sunderland area would be best could drop it off anywhere within a reasonable distance though. It needs sorting before 8th August!

There is a place just along from Quadrant that is great - £25 quid for MOT if you say you seen a flyer and work on the Cobalt Business Park. No recharge for failures - I needed brake pads and they were were very good. I have recommended them to a few people and they were all really impressed too. Cant remember the name North East something - it is the one right on the roundabout has Enterprise car hire on the same plot, along from the Ford Showroom. If you got it booked in on a work day I could take you back down to work and bring you back when its ready or do some hot desking at Quadrant.

I've always used Pelaw MOT centre, which oddly enough is in Pelaw. (10 mins walk from either Pelaw or Heworth metro stations)

Never had a dot of bother with them and have had car taken in by them on couple of occasions on the day I've rang.
