Catch 22 - Sunderland 29/6/10

First time out on this boat. Skipper very helpful and good local knowledge. Plenty of cod to about 6 lb. There was over 100 cod on board by the end of the day. Only two ling caught. Not many mackerel but enough for bait.
Fish took a variety of bait - daylights baited with fresh mackerel, Hokais with fresh mackerel, rippers but the killer bait of the day was fresh mussel.
Cracking day out after the early rain.
Would recomend this boat to anyone fancying a look out.

Sounds like a good day out ..might give him a bell see if he has spaces for Monday. JFK for me on Friday
