posted on 17/12/2003 at 01:13Just got in from fishing a match. Fished Roker Pier on the end from 6 til 10. Got 22 Whiting most a decent size and the best going 1lb 4oz. Only had about four chucks when I didn't get a fish and only had one undersize and that was 26.5cm, just short. Fished on a points basis but would have been about 15-16lb if weighing in. Later switched to crab baits for codling and was still taking Whiting. A few of the lads had some nice codling around a couple of pounds but there had been some better ones earlier before we fished up to about 5lb.
Anyway won the match by 2 points so happy with that.
