Caught my first trout today!

First outing today and I bagged two 2lb rainbows Unfortunatley they didn\'t fall to the fly Got them whilst float fishing!

However, did have a few hours using the fly rod and although I\'m still pants at casting it is getting better - main problem now is I\'m bringing the rod too far forward and I keep letting line out on the backwards stroke!

I\'m sure it will mate! The wind didn\'t help today like.......was having to cast into it

well done on your first trout dont worry about the casting it just takes time, next thing you know you will be double hauling
