Cheap Fixed spool

Promised my 11 year old grandson to take him sea fishing in finer weather and on holidays so was on the market for a cheap large-ish fixed-spool reel.

Accessed 'Yorkshire Game Angling', a company which I have used for years for miscellaneous trout and salmon kit.

Their 'Sea Fishing Section' offered a 'Power Storm Sea Master 860' fixed spool for £12.99 P&P free.

Couldn't believe the value-for-money when it arrived this morning. Has a 200m20lb (0.40) breaking strain capacity with a spare-spool of the same sze and is well robust enough for the little fellas needs with a 4.9:1 retrieve.

All-in-all one of the best value items I've come accross in years.

Thanks for the kind offer, mate but he's set up for now.

Looking at the reel, it should see him through until I get him 'weaned' onto multipliers (and I've got dozens of them)
