Cheap Steak Anyone????

Just a bit of a heads up to anyone that likes there steak's, beef,pork chops etc etc etc. ive been going to a place called lowrys just behind id fishing now for over 15 years now and if like me you like your steak etc this is the place to get it. I get 4 large sized steaks for £5 the same ones in asda ec sell for £4+ each. a canny saving. They also do fresh cut joints of pork beef etc by the price you give them so if you go in and ask for a bit of beef for a £5 they will cut you a one that size and what a decent one it will be as well. As I say me and my family and mates use there place a lot and its always fresh as well. The other good thing is that there two buildings down from id fishing tackle in newcastle on the same side. Directions come out of id fishing go towards the back of the building then on the same side two buildings down and your there. You could make the excuse that your going to the butchers to get into the wife's good books then call into the fishing shop lol.
I know this is nothing really to do about fishing but its just a heads up to everyone that like me likes decent food

when you go in mate there is a counter at the back where the butchers cut the meat for you then they give you a ticket to take to the office near the door where you pay. I am sure you will enjoy there meats. they supply restaurants / butchers and all differant buisneses. its nice to give credit where credit is due and these guys are great.

Sounds similar to a place in Haswell rund the back of the slaughterhouse. Very cheap gear but It's a while since I've been and can't remember if it was nice or not?
