I can't help but..... I can't believe nobody on here has anything to tell you about it.

mind you... I was once told by some one on here that whitby wasn't in the north east :D ;)

A bloke I know at my work went on it last summer, he said it was canny trip, nobody got any cod but a few big pollack. He said the fish caught loved the luminous pirks, it traveled towards Norway I think. He did say the boat was a bit rough inside like, remnants of the previous ànglers sick was mentioned but it didn't put them off lol

me and five mates had a trip out on the chieftain back in july 2014 it was a good trip and everybody aboard caught fish .I smashed my pb with a 15lb cod first drop and it was steady fishing all day . the food was spot on but the sleeping quarters smelt a bit damp but we had all had a good skin full in whitby before sailing and a good few beers while steaming out so by the time we where ready for bed we never noticed it
some of my mates said they would never go again but I would the skipper will put you on the fish sooner or later

Never heard a good report yet about this boat. You would be better having a few days out of Hartlepool.
Very expensive and the boat is old and dirty.
