codgers corner is on the housing estate called coble landing where the statue is the small beach is in between the groyne and the pier

cheers sless your right am not that old, just look old, it was nicknamed codgers bout three years ago when peter seymour a few others and my self were fishing there most of the time cos there was a lot fish being caught. so in fact peter and the others should get most of the credit for the name as they are older than me ha ha lol
