cleaning floatation suits

Hi lads I was wondering how does everyone go about cleaning thier floaty suits as mines startin ta stink a bit now and the trouble n strifes givin me earache about it now. Im worried about using any sort of detergent so any advice would be gratefully received. Thanks in advance Alan .

In the washer on rinse only, no detergent then hang outside to dry.

l agree with above thats all l do l have a mustard bib and brace and had it 2 years now just it on a cool rinse

One more thing while you are waiting for it to dry go to the chemist and get some ear drops for your ear ache

ive always wondered the about cleaning the suits aswell mate never thought of putting it up here !!
mine doesnt stink like just a few general dirty marks

only wash mine once a year lol, but its done in the washer with soap powder, then its re-proofed. but its about 8 yrs old now lol

Any recomendations what to proof it with jimmy incase it all goes horribly wrong lol

i just use nikwax mate, put it in the washer ( without detergent) just a ligth spin, then let air dry. Just make sure after you wash it you put ya washer on a 60-90 degree wash with soap powder, as it will leave a waxy film inside the washer which needs to be leaned out A.S.A.P

bet ya say that to all the girls lol, not the fish that makes ya suit smell, its the worm and crab juices that ya wipe on ya suit hahaha
