FFS man Trev, these tossers will get the pier closed to anglers man, they had a fire in the bunker and it wasn't little one either, the flames were coming up over the roundhead, that kind of thing can end up cracking the stone blocks, it's a pity they weren't down there now, this sea would have sorted the knackers out

I can understand your anger mate the knackers sometimes have little fires on blyth pier aswell, a WOODEN pier. It just goes to show how many brain cells these idiots possess 
I just don't get it me, they obviously enjoy fishing on the pier or why go there? But then ruin it by acting like idiots. Never shxt on your own doorstep as they say.
As I said in a previous post I saw and heard behaviour on Whitby pier this year that could get the perpetrators locked up if they did it in any town centre.

Yer, police patrols are a good idea. They do sometimes come along ss but not very often, it's probably not one of their priorities

Ive seen the police come onto blyth pier once and that was only because they were called for two of the affore mentioned knackers scrapping on after thier bottles of frosty jack. I personally would welcome a regular police patrol

Often wonder why sea fishing attracts so many f*****g idiots. I try and avoid piers these days and find a quiet spot out the way even if the fishing isn't as good.

Likewise Chris I fish rock marks more now to have a bit peace & quiet and not nearly getting taken out by a 6oz lead cos the numpty is trying to blast cast with 15lb line.

Hi m8 well those cannot be proper anglers just dickheads putting us anglers in a situation where we cannot argue the point if they did close the gates on us but to me they should have scrutineers whatching what is going on and fine them then they might learn not to mess with the harbour control it is diabolicle.

they seem to go from generation to generation. happened years ago on tynemouth , they lit fire in tunnel with life rings and burned the big cable. then the doors were bricked up.

LOL, nee apologies mate, say it as tou see it. Definately not a ploitician - I work for a living - After a hard days graft and a small fortune spent on gear I think its not much to ask for to be allowed to do something you enjoy doing and not to have it spoilt by a few mindless morons.
