Right lads get your gear dusted down and oiled cos today we did spot on.
I got biggest fish on the boat today using a white sidewinder at Craster.

After a couple of hours the box started filling up. Most people had about 10 cod each. All good spring runners. And loads got on shads.

And hows this baby looking--its Douggies new boat. His sons wanted a camper van but the boat won. Its getting a metal plate on the bottom for the low tide in the harbour and will be ready in a few weeks. Its a real powerful boat bought from Rhyll and will be Renamed after Dougs relative who passed away.

We had a spot on day again with Dave Dougs other son.

Whats the plan with the new boat, is he going further off or is he just upgrading:question:

Hello Mick, that's great mate well done......you've started something now though :)

Does Dougie take individual anglers on board if he has room, I'd like to try during the week sometime.

Regards Ian

Good report Mick m8 and looks like weather is changing for the better and you seem to have had a terrific session m8 and fantastic pics to show your result so keep the good work going.:D:D:D

Well done on your catch mate but I would like to let you know that a certain angling body from a magazine is slating this report and north east anglers on general as none of us practice catch and release allegedly.now why not comment on this forum with your views if it bothers you that much mate ??

Well said Nicky. To make sly comments about this thread on a different site is below the belt in my opinion.

And to label all north east anglers under that heading is wrong.

I also seem to remember reading reports from Mick where fish were released, BA carpark club comps & Norway spring to mind, which makes it even more unfair.

Can't see his opinions doing much good for Sea Angler sales in this area.

PS Well done on the catch Mick. It shows what were all missing out on with this crap weather.

Ace report Mick, glad to see the fish have arrived at Craster, cod, and even a string of mackerel. Photo's are spot on. That's a cracking boat Dougies just got there!:):)
