well not quite. went to king eddies till bout 3am between me scotty and william. we fished the gulley inbetween the rocks to the left of the prom. had 2 rockling 2 coalies all to william was his second time fishing. went quiet so I moved round n had a quick cast just behind the breakers slack line then taptap; the only codling of the night bout lb n half. scotty then had a decent whiting. in hindsight we probably should of tried the pier but it was too sheltered and warm down there and it was howling at the pier il attach a few pics inabit.

least one of you had a codling. what was the weed like last night. i fished stoney bottom on longsands only managed two casts and decided to move onto slaty gut to avoid the weed. i managed a decent coalie and lost a decent fish close in snagged me up and lad i was fishing with had one 2.10 fishing seemed to come on with the flood but we got pushed off the mark by the tide.
