Just a quick report guys to let you know what happening at Hartlepool

managed to get both the Famous & the Ali-Cat out on Saturday 12th April and just the Ali-cat out on the Sunday 13th April

2 great days fishing both for shads and ammo bait user fish coming aboard all day non stop action from all the spots we tried
ammo bait proving itself fish coming up 2 at a time on the squid
well done every one

We'll done Dave nice to see some fish starting to show just hope they stay around for a while

Saturday April 12th. Ali-Cat

First trip of many for me booked on Ali-Cat this season.
Left the marina on a bright but slightly blustery early 6:30 kick off.
Team Blyth (4 of us) were eager, with lots of boastful comments.
Dave brought Ali to the first mark and bang!!!! 5lb clean coddling straightaway.
Secong drop, bang!!!!!! Very similar sized fish.
Basically that was the story for the day
Fish coming up on regular intervals, nothing massive, but steady sport.
I don't think anyone went away without fish.
I took a fine bag of 16 fish, between 3 & 6lb with lots of 2lb fish successfully returned.
The wind picked up slightly, so we came inside and fish continued to come in.
Cod, Pollock and a solitary Ling.
4" Rhubarb and Custard shad took most of mine but bait seemed to be working just as well.
Excellent start to the season, a little unexpected, but the signs are looking good.
Until this weekend, tight lines lads.
