Cold Feet?

I was dragged by the ear into Matalan today by SWMBO. She was after some warm socks, so I thought I would have a look at the mens. Thay had a couple of different types, two for a fiver and another a fiver a pair. The two for a fiver seem ok but the single pair for a fiver feel like a really good pair that will keep the cold out.

I haven't tried them yet but pretty confident they should be good. There were some canny ladies thermal socks too that seemed to be good.

Jim.

I have the ones that area fiver each and they are great, nothing worse than freezing feet in the depths of winter.

I've been looking at the seelskin socks but at £30 a pop I can't bring myself to pay for them.

I'm sure our lass is hinting for a new iron as she was cursing the one we have quite loudly earlier ..... of course I played along and made out I hadn't taken the hint .

cheap skates.... I'll be pushin the boat out with a apron, marigolds and some Limited Edition fairy liquid, can't wait to see the excitement on her face

Howay lads have you not wrapped up some Slimfast, did it about 8 years ago. She saw the funny side, it's still in the cupboard.

Saw the funny side but didn't take the hint :D

Theres a shop in the Innshops at the galleries Washington selling Thermal Longjohns and Thermal vests at £2 each. Available in all sizes. Worth a try for winter fishing.
