Collecting crab

Hi guys I'm going down Whitburn this Sunday for crab not sure if there will be much about with all the rain we have had but got to give it a go as tide is massive. Your welcome to join me I'll be down at 10.30 Sunday morning.
 
where abouts in whitburn you going mate,ive never crabbed before so it would be a good time to go along and see how to go on and what to look for???
 
I think your best bet is about the rivers I ain't had much luck had 20 crabs with the bairn 2 weeks ago at whitburn and they were all hardbacks
 
There’s a place I go to up the coast from here and get over 100 crabs at a time.




They’re already wrapped and frozen too :)

cheers for today stevie children luved it im burnt , knackered hope you got extra from the secret mark lol tell you wot if cod ate wilicks i would catch loads 2 peelers and 20 stone of wilicks but a good morning out
p.s get some new waders
 
i think i Spoke to you down whitburn this morning,got some lug,but hard work,think i mite try & invest in one of them pumps,sounds like you had a good morning out,nice to have met you.:)

it was mate you get many worms to be honest both was hard graft m8 and was nice to meet you to hope the worms attract the bigguns for you m8

Got 8 more peelers and I'm going to have alook at some waders at 4 today.
Give me a shout the next time your fishing and I'll sort you some free bait out.
It was a good day even the kids found more crab than you. Lol
Next time just let the kids go and you watch. Hahahahaha.

Thanks mate you should have got more than you did.
Dig closer to the boats next time but not to close.
It was nice to put a face to them name.
