Whitburn comp today,,fishing hard going,,only a few boats out but about 1/2 dozen codling weighed in,,biggest was 3lb 12oz,,all caught just as it started to ebb,,still 1or 2 fish out there but hard to find,,nice to see a few fish all the same.

Yer odd fish turning up but it was hard going for us also, also had the first ling of the season today but just a small one at 5lb

Yes boat back in now,,new crank seal,timing belt,oil and filters,,hope that's it for a while.Thanks for the help that day.

Any fish is welcome the way its been,,never had a ling on the boat last season Ritchie.

Good to hear any fish reports. Everything is a month behind this year. when was the last time daffodils were still just blooming in May.
