competition Derwent

was talking to one of the rangers up at derwent who informed me there was a competition this Sunday.I am thinking about fishing this comp with the boy but know very little about it,do the same rules apply ie fly,bait fishing and spinning,is there any extra cost to fish the comp,would appreciate any info.
