hi . down beach yest massive n/w swells talking to my mate last night says it is them swells that do the damage to the piers he was saying its this type of sea that takes a while to settle down,just been on tynemouth longsands webcam and could,nt believe my eyes fishable and just been reading reports people fishing last night. i know even in the biggest of seas you can normaly find somewere to fish but most other people have the same idea example blyth west pier sardines in a can. back to work mond just watch ideal cond thro week just been able to get down on a sund is,nt easy
 
hi m8 ur right in a way but shift work is tiring done loads nightshift all week stay up all day fri to go fishing etc rewarding sometimes but at least fewer people down you can get away from rat race competitions etc
 
hi alan i thought it would be going to wait for thro week session got a couple of days hols to take hopefully sea will keep running

just been along Blyth Beach,north end is fishable,probably too heavy from the Groynes to Seaton Sluice,was'nt that many on the Pier at 15.00 probably fill up later
 
I was on Blyth beach too about an hour and a half ago...looked impressive :o

...hope it keeps up right until the NESA Comp'..then dies right down...promised my lass I'd spend some quality time on my Uni studies (instead of fishing :rolleyes:) until then ;) (I'll prob squeeze another cheeky session or two in:D)
 
That sea at Blyth is bigger then when i was down at about 11am.
Couldn't get moved for Jet Skiers doing really interesting things like,jumping another wave.
