Conoflex Scorpion Sport MK1 for sale. I have just rebuilt the rod in red wine and gold. Refitted original BNHGs as inserts are fine. New shrink tube.
£90 pick up or £100 posted.

I have an old conoflex dc6 and was looking to give it a rebuild was wondering if its expensive ad where do you get the parts

If you're only wanting to rebuild one rod it may be worth asking a rodbuilder to do it as by the time you buy the varnish, highbuild, threads etc it will start to mount up.
Then you need to a motor and chuck to turn the rod for around 6 hrs whilst the highbuild levels and sets. This can be done by hand turning every 15 mins for that period but the finish wont be as good.

guides & blanks,solway custom comp,blakdog tackle,rod rings and things are but just a few like micke says unless your doing a few it wo,nt be cost effective if you get stuck give me a shout as i live local at lowfell and could do it for you.

your more than welcome to do the rod mate if you want his buisness i just gave him some names and agreed with what you said and if he got stuck to give me a shout and i would do it for him with him living in gateshead and me in lowfell his choice, i thought this was a open forum
