just a word of warning for sending rods with a courier. just sent 2 rods with interparcel. very good service. recomended. 1 with ups the other with tnt. both picked up sameday. both about £17. ups rod arrived 2days later .intact and ontime. the other. posted same day. 29 nov. arrived yesterday 6 dec. wet through. end 12 inch of tube missing but thankfully through my good packing intact. so beware tnt. interparcel recomended but dont use the tnt opcion.
