Crab hooks

nice day today so decided to jump in the car and headed up by scotswood bridge to do a bit flattie fishing ' put 15 crab in a flask got me bass rod and a few rigs i hade just made with size 1 crab hooks now this is the first time i've used crab hooks as i normally use aberdeens when i fish the river ' today i had 5 flounder and 2 snottys but every one was deeply hooked i don't know if this was just a one off as i never seem to have that percentage with aberdeens btw i did manage to return all fish alive.

dont quoute me on this but aren't crab hooks just meant to lip hook the fish.

hi mate i think just some times the fish are feeding harder (more ungry)
