You lot up there opened our southern eyes yesterday.All the years I\'ve boat fished I\'ve been under the impression that peeler DOES\'NT work on the boat.Was that wrong.For the last 11/2 hrs on Mistress yesterday there was cod,cod,and more cod coming up,all on peeler.Mind it only seemed to work over hard ground.We also found out that Geordie mackerel hit anything that moves and that includes 4\" muppets.

When we go out on the boys thats all we use on the inshore wrecks. We have had cod to 15lb on fresh peeler crab. We have goos results using crab.

We\'ve used crab on hokkais and on flowing traces with much success over hard ground.

We\'ve taken some fish over wrecks with it but I wouldn\'t say we have been any better off in previous years to using macky, squid or king prawns.

i had crabs once.

I just rubbed sugar into my pubes and sorted them - well they did not get rid of them just rotted their teeth and they did not hurt so much!!!

I had fresh crab, but it didn\'t make much difference. Fishing marc\'s secret spot (been waiting ages to say something like that in the boat forum!), the fish all fell to lures with mackeral or rag on some new lures I was trying out. Except the five minutes when the cod went mad for....dare I say it......Fsih n strips!
