after a very canny weeks fishing, including a really enjoyable day taking out ex veterans,
as part of help the heroes, organised by Sam Harris
these lads had never even fished before let alone wreck fishing, but by the end of the day.
they were pulling in nice cod and ling, left right and centre, they were absolutely loving it. and one of the lads shaking my hand at the end and said whilst on the boat, was the only time he had completely forgot about every thing else.
back to today we had Geoff and his club the royal oak angling club. up for the weekend.
and after bacon butties from wrights, eventually turned up for the off.
decided to push off a fair distance, turned out to be a good shout. as we ended up with over 150 fish. and the pleasing part they were all a really good stamp of fish averaging 6 to 8lbs
a good few double figure, upto 12lbs.also ling to 12lbs, and 6-7 polllack.
