Cracking Sport Of The Tyne

After fishing a friends boat the Marcer G out of the Tyne Saturday we the five of us had a terrific early morning catch of 36 cod from 4lb up to 14lb with a few ling thrown in also, method of catch was on pirks orange seems to fish better, plenty of mackeral and to many scotchy's.

i was on the pier on saterday morning, there was a few boats just out from the pier i just wish the cod came abit closer in and got on my hook lol. had lots of small codling on the pier but nothing over 2lb
