Well lads we set out this morning 8am.Looked lovely day with a steady swell-mind there was the first nip in the air. Fishing went ok but slow at times however we did get some nice size Cod. Heres my mate Kev with his first decent Cod he has caught-this was on a shad-well done Kev.

This another lad who also had his first cod as well on hockeyes

Heres an old hand Cliffy with a big Wrasse-nice looking fish but he went back.

Another catch which went back was two seagulls who grabbed some hockeyes on the way in.

One of the lads Peter Chadwick got heaviest fish a Ling at over 4lb.Here he is with another cod.

Heaviest bag went to Fred Douglas a guest from Northumbria who had a very good late surge and won the sweep-well done Fred (sorry pic has not turned out).
Tight Lines everybody Mick.

aye i was panicking a bit-lost seven 12 ounce sinkers in my first seven drops-still evened off as day wore on. I was later using a ripper i had bought from The Friarage at Hartlepool-very effective when the lead was polished up-thanks John spot on witth the gear again.

Mick.

Mick I've got to agree it was a cracking day. Stocked up my freezer with plenty of fish. So pleased the weather was kind, didn't want another day having over the side.:D
