theres at least 2 on the door step.ones a caravan club site {visitors wellcme}aswell as another were i think anyone can go.would say 2nd site possibly best opion.goodluck.

head up past Dunstan Steads toward Embleton and there is a campsite on your right hand side.
There's also one in Longhoughton as you enter the village from the RAF Radar Ops site, the farm on your left hand side caters for campers

just about on your doorstep,but if you want to fish around the castle area possibly 30mins walk,crab @ mussle mixed imo best bait,even just taking spinning gear should produce pollick come next b/holiday,good luck on your venture.
