Craster Harbour

Alreet,

Anyone had any luck at Craster Harbour on either spinners or light gear?

Heading up there camping in a few weeks and was wondering if it's worth a couple of hours before hitting the Jolly Fisherman for a couple of jars.

Going to hit the castle for a proper session the next day, just need something to do on the day of arrival.

Any advice/info would be great.

Cheers.

you can get some good sport wi coalies on the float off the south pier

Agreed ... keep off the bottom as it is pretty snaggy just outside the harbour mouth. Should have lots of fun with a float our lad caught 26 in one session when he was about 10 years old. Camping at Proctors Stead I take it coz The Cottage Inn is a good alehouse too :)

Good stuff, cheers watersedge! Sounds like a plan here like! And aye, staying at Proctors Stead, we'll pop into The Cottage Inn for one (or more), can foresee a sore head the next day but the walk to the castle should sort that!
