Went out with Douggie and 9 other lads yesterday. Sea was like a mill pond.Sunshine all day. Cod were few and far but some canny ones caught on baited hockeyes. Worm proving the best. I would guess about 20 cod. Biggest 7lb to Wolfy who won sweep.
I slipped up. Got a keeper cod more or less first drop on my white sidewinder and let it go. Not one more cod came my way. Stll never mind got some mackeral for my freezer.
Icecream from the van when we got in and some crabs off Douggie,Two beers in the pub and home knackered. A very enjoyable day.
Looking out now i,m glad we not out today.

Great weather Mick, shame the fishing wasn't the same. There's been quite a few reports of how slow things are on some of the tides at the moment, but it helps lighten the mood when the sun is shinning.
