When to craster early sunday morning with my mate to get a few macky. So we took our big rods to cast out a bait along with our uptiders for a bit spinning/floating etc.
Any way fished the back of the castle got about 12 macky loads of sandeels then my mate sain he was going to try up the top with a baited up rod 1st cast he got a nice red kelpy cod about 2lb. 2nd cast another cod of about 3lbs, and here is me sitting down the bottom getting nowt, my phone rang he said get ya self up here, as soon as i went up there he was pulling another one out this time not as big 1lb half mark so he put it back in the water. Set my rod up casted out & sure enough wollop my rod start bouncing around struck it 1st time & got a cod out for my trouble around about 3 lb mark too. at the end of the day we ended up with 6 cod around the 3lb mark each.

The only disappointing thing about the day was the mess around there eg.. Carling cans, Rig packets, carrier bags, dirty od towels, macky guts, disposable bbqs left all over the place, Come on people lets try to keep these places tidy take.

welldone mate good session there ,and yes they do spoil our marks with the mess they leave only takes a carrier bag to take there rubbish to a local bin close by

hi mate i agree its a disgrace the way some anglers just leave litter lying around when it takes seconds to pick up, i am thinking of a session up at craster as its a good mark and a nice place to visit.

Nice report and I have to say that it's only a few " anglers " that are leaving the mess and giving us all a bad name , shame they can't be fined for littering :mad2:
