I fished blyth beach last week and it fished very well about 2 hrs down and on the turn but we had to stop as it was a match. Loads of fish caught when the tide turned.
High water is about 2040 so it might be worth fishing the farm on Blyth beach. Turn in by the middle toilets and drive as far as you can to the north of the track and follow the track over the dunes behind the farm. Vary your casting distances a bit and you could get some decent results. Hope this helps.
cheers lads might be worth a chuck I cant get out till about 11pm after my shift finishes so will probly head north then work our way down to the tyne let you know how I get on
