the missus and the bairn were out all day so I said bugger it am off fishing nowt planned threw me lure kit in the car and drove north ended up at craster fished the castle from top water down sea was a bit choppy wind s/e lovely sunshine the fishing was great second cast nice Pollack returned to get bigger and it was like that for hours Pollack cod coleys then later on in the after noon the macky showed it was great for about an hour but couldn't catch owt but makies then the heavens opened managed to get another cod and Pollack for the table .went home wet and cold but a happy chappy

hi mate I was up there today just having a look maybe going in 2/3 weeks any tips.there was about 7 fishing near castle was that you :thumbup:

Fished of the rocks today too. Got there about 6.30am and tried every thing going. Last half hour there put some daylights on and caught at least 20 coley. Pulled big rod in and what a surprise 3lb dog fish good day out but no mackie another couple of weeks I think !!

was up there yesterday m8 if your going to the castle just go through the main entrance the rangers let the anglers through free of charge just keep to your right follow the wall round till you get to a hole in the wall this will get you to the top of the cliffs just walk to the bottom and theirs plenty spots hope this helps

yeah i was the lad that came over when u caught the doggy. i caught jack **** apart from ur lines a few times. my mate got 5 coleys. dont know if we were doing something wrong but havnt had much luck all year!! we use fresh crab n muss and also spinning.
