Hello all. Just wondering if anyone has fished at Craster lately as fancy a run up this weekend, possibly Cullernose or just north of the harbour.

Paul, the Alnwick club have fished there a few times this year and had nowt but Coalies. Haven\'t heard of much else from Craster on catch reports apart from the possible conger. Dustanburgh on the other hand has produced a few fish. One of our members goes to Craster nearly every week to try and bag up on coalies to get in front of his m8 in the league. Needless to say he\'s still behind him!

i fished near craster last week and lost somthing big,conger ,cod i dont know,nearly snapped my rod,i was gutted.

Poacher did the fish snap your terminal tackle or did it just come of the hook?
If you got your trace back have a look at the last few inches of the hook length, if there is evidence of scraping then it could possibly have been a conger, if no scraping then I would plum for a big cod.
Better still, get back out there and try for it again

Just read your catch report,, line snapped eh, well that blows my theory...
