Crawleys - longsands

Got to crawleys this morning for low water and i was surprised to see a noce sea running i was getting good pulls from the off almost every chuck.
About an hour into the ebb i get a good bite and into a nice fish about 4.5lb for it to drop off at my feet gutter any way i did manage a small rockling

Decided on a move to longsands with the sea going and 1st cast saw me land a nice flounder went dead after that only one more pull bait was crab lug fresh blacks and mussel

Too true! Ive seen them in cods mouth caught before...
