Lush morning calm sea no wind and sunshine great to be out in yak , tried close in managing three to 4lb drifting with shads on light gear , was a bit slow so paddled out to the Skeers . Drifting with the tide was able to fish very light shads hitting good stamp of fish every drift with the fish fighting hard especially a couple of decent Pollock determined to dive back to bottom .

Great report and pics, i was out with trevor yesterday, it was a perfect day for it, i love fishing with the shads and jellies, hopefully i’ll have a run up to newbiggin/creswell this year

Aye great to see Dave. I've actually not had a Pollock of any size to feel how they fight. Like Rocky says, we will have to have a venture up to Cresswell sometime to see if we can't put that right. Don't much fancy bringing the Granny fish on board though!
