cresswell beach

hi had a walk up cresswell beach 5pm this afternoon with the little one. just wondering if anyone got any info on what part of the beach to fish etc any info would be much apreciated cheers

I was there this morning, tried the beach opposite the caravan park for abit with mackerel and rag worm, over 5 hours (3down 2up) caught nothing. Tried using a couple lures off the carrs when I ran out of bait as well. It's the first time ive fished it, normally I stick to cambois or blyth so there could be fish there Ive just been at the wrong point!

must have been you I could see up the beach on the rocks on sunday
fished private beach over high water and the rocks at each end over low water saturday and sunday.
Not a sniff from the rocks with plugs/spinners or on peeler and lug
Had a few flounders over highwater on the private beach but all smallish/just on size
water really cleared up on sunday so was hoping for some sign of bass/pollack but another blank with the spinning rods

up there all next week so hopefully fishing will improve!
