Is anyone getting a message at the bottom of the NESA pages saying...."Internet Explorer has modified the page to prevent cross site scripting" it happens every time i go from one page to another and its starting to annoy me....any ideas on what it is, or how to get rid of it...

Hi Johnny, i've got Norton Security installed and it is set to auto update. I only get this message on NESA.....cheers...chris

Wasnt trying to worry you m8, I am not an expert but have seen quite a few attacks on our business network and friends computers over the years. Lots are just annoying but ocassionally they can be nasty.

As Mark suggested try firefox many prefer this over explorer. Never been a big fan of Norton but each to their own. Might be worth trying a scan with something like Spybot, see if it comes up with anything.

I had that, Internet Explorer has modified the page to prevent cross site scripting a week or two ago but not lately, and only on NESA forum.

I had an update from Norton the day it stopped, but i dont think that had anything to do with it. From reading up on the net i think it is an issue with NESA, what i have noticed is on the NESA screen you have the blue and white NESA logo in the top left hand corner and directly opposite it on the right hand side i have an advert for the RAC, when i had the problem, that RAC advert was showing as a white square with a hash symbol in it (#).
So i think the problem is site related, could be wrong though..

Guess what, it's just started again :(, and that advert has disappeared and the hash symbol is back, it only happens when this bloody advert disappears, if any mods read this do you have any suggestions for me and Mad as a Fish before we do go mad...

LOL it seems to be intermittent some times it happens and sometimes its not, next time it happens I must take a look at the advert at the top right corner,
just had a thought maybe internet explorer blocking the advert.
