hellow mate put it this way im in no hurry in going back there to snaggy i know u have 2 b preapered 2 loose gear 2 get cod but thats just daft the amount ov gear i lost but never mind hey

Ive never realy rated the place. Never realy thought of it as being a snaggy mark tho. No where near as bad as black hole a bit further up and rock marks closer to the harbour.

It's been overfished there for years. More and more are venturing to marks up our way and eventually they'll hit a point where they too become over rated unfortunately.

Where abouts did you fish from ? I've fished Cullernose point loads and hardly lost any gear.I normaly cast south from the point 80 - 120 yrds fanning me cast out each cast.But it is a well overrated mark,ive had wrasse, coalies and pollack on the float close in down the side and cod to 7lb.But i've probably blanked from here more times then i've caught fish.I think it's better to fish this in a big northerly sea as its starting to moderate.
