Darlin -sat 14th may

off the ramp and in the water for 5.45am and a decent run over to skinningrove, sea state was quite flat but a decent west wind blowing, had a plan to get over there early hit the rough ground and hopefully catch some fish and be back for 11/12ish.
(had doubts the weather would stay decent all day),

The first 2 parts of the plan worked well, picked up fish almost straight away, with 3 of us into codling every drop for an hour or so, 4 to 7lbs

as the wind grew stronger so did the sea, decided to call it a day about 10ish and head back. good few keepers for the pot and some returned to applease the fish god.......or get them next year when the're bigger

Good catch their easyfish, did you head round by Kafiga to clean your fish in calmer waters ?
Was a few quicksilvers about today.
