Just a reminder folks Dave Jobson Memorial Comp next Sunday.

This is a sweep only comp. The club makes no money from this. A small amount is taken out, rounded up or down, and donated to The Blyth lifeboat,

All other cash is paid out so there is a chance of some decent cash prizes obviously all dependant on the number of entrants.

Some good bag of flatties been weighed in recently so I suspect a lot of anglers will head to the beaches leaving a few die hards to try and pick up a codling for the heaviest fish prize.

Gary Anglers United,rang me today saying he has the pre-registration tickets available for this competition.
So would think other tackle shops will have the same.

Gary- Anglers United contacted me asking if there was any pre registration could be done at his shop. There are numerous anglers wanting to fish living in the North of the county who probably wouldn't have fished otherwise as It was too far to travel down to Blyth and back up to register.
Due to this a decision was made to have the facility to pre register at his shop in an effort to increase the numbers fishing and hence the prizes.
