debut fish

with the forecast iffy and looking after grand daughter decide to have a few hours down at codgers, as the water was brown was not expecting much, when we got there and with overcat sky and a slight chilly wind coming up river I set up a little shelter for her, so set up me rods cast out and then set up my little rod with a float set up well with no bites on crab put a bit of bluey on her rod and within a rew mins a decent bite with the float going well under so caled my grandaughter and told her to reelin, she started to reel reel in and and thought she missed it as virtually no bend on rod but was wrong atiny flouder cme in well afer naming it louey she put it back i atill had nowt on crab after an hour or so with no bites changedtaticta for her and put a small pulley rig on and again rod tip started bouncing and told her to reel in and agine another flounder came in this one getting named lewis before letting it go. well with me not even having a bite decided to call it a day but i saved the blank by bringing in a flounder and small cod lying on on each of my rods, both fish returned safaely asweel with her namin my flounder harry but would not name the little cod cos she just liked the flatties, kids are so funny
so it turned out a canny day as sun came out and warmed up and honours even with 2 fish apeice with the grandaughter truly enjoying her self

it will be a long time before a even think of taking her on pier with the idiots thats on there, and the slab area no good as no rail up as she not 5 yet, gonna try try the rathouse or glasshous next time
