Deep water fishing spots

Hello all, I was just querying whether or not there was any decent deep fishing spots anywhere from tynemouth to sea houses? I have recently had surgery to my hand and can't really get a long cast out, I have had no luck in recent weeks trying to fish the beaches and local rock marks. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, cheers dan

There's tons of marks between here that only requires 30-50 yds. Whitley beach sometimes only requires a short lob when the sea is away.
St Mary's lighthouse
Doctors house
Beadnell skeers
Newbiggin beacons
Cresswell boghall

Just to name a few

As already said, there are loads of marks to choose from. The water does not necessarily need to be deep either. An important thing to remember is fish tend to feed more confidently at night. I probably say this for most people, I have had fish no more than thirty yards out in shollow water with a sea on at night.

You could try the black hole between cullernose point and craster its a big gulley and its deep and fishes most stages of the tide always worth a shot had some nice fish out of there its a very good summer shot also for spinning
