I Was Watching Rex Hunt The Other Day And As Many People On This Site Keep Deeply Hooked Fish.
When He Caught A Few Deeply Hooked He Threw Them Back And Said Within A Few Days The Hook Would Disolve.
Just Wundering If Its The Same In Our Waters As It Is Over His Waters?

Thanks

If you wany to release a fish that is deep hooked I find it's best to just cut the trace line as close to the hook (or fishes mouth) as possible & release straight away, rather than mess around trying to perform surgery to get your hook back then do it. We've all heard of people catching fish with hooks attached from previous anglers. (And I'm sad enough enjoy the guilt free feeling of releasing a fish For the price of a 10p hook !)

GOOD POINT MATE. I DONT THINK IT WORTH KILLING A FISH FOR THE SAKE OF A 10P HOOK
